Association Croquet Refreeing

To be accredited as a AC Umpire/Referee, a player needs to demonstrate competency in three main areas:

  • Knowledge of AC Laws;
  • Refereeing lawn-craft;
  • General oversight of play including player management

 AC Umpires can officiate at any game, match or even  in routine situations, including watching for potential faults and adjudicating wirings, but is not expected to have a full knowledge of the laws covering more unusual ones

 AC Referees as well as assesing strokes on the lawn they can interpret the laws.
