Report on the CNSW AC 3 & Under Tournament

The AC 3 & Under Tournament was held from the 31^st January to the 2^nd February. There were 19 entrants with 4 playing at any one time at the Queanbeyan Croquet Club lawn over the weekend, while the other 15 played on the Canberra Croquet Club lawns.

The tournament was won by Michael Gidding (Ballina) and the runner up was Trevor Bassett (Cooks River).

The tournament was played in lovely summer weather so that all games were able to proceed without weather hold-ups. Competition was strong and quite a few games were hard fought. There were competitors from all over NSW and a good group of ACT players.

Queanbeyan Croquet Club hosted one block of players on Saturday and the Y knock out on Sunday. The Club provided good morning and afternoon teas and was pleased to have the opportunity to be involved.

Canberra Croquet Club hosted the games from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. The Club Lawn manager and crew’s hard work provided the competitors with excellent lawns for the competition.  Club members provided morning and afternoon teas.
